Welcome to the website of Prof. Ding-Fu Shao’s group at Institute of Solid State Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In our group, we use first-principles calculations along with model approaches to understand the fundamental properties of materials. A main goal of our group is to predict and design material platforms with promising nanoelectronic and spintronic functionalities useful for next generation information technology.
